Pillar Vases by Jean-Paul Sylvaince for Donna Karan's Urban Zen

Pillar Vases by Jean-Paul Sylvaince for Donna Karan's Urban Zen

from 75.00

A selection of pillar vases made by Haitian artisan Jean-Paul Sylvaince was generously donated by Urban Zen to support Pazapa’s work bringing artistic and economic opportunities to Haitians marginalized by disability and poverty.

From Urban Zen: These handcrafted vessels, with their elegant, tapering necks, are created by Haitian artisans who are reimagining the papier-mache tradition by using tobacco leaves instead of paper to form the vase, then finishing it in burlap and leather.

The collection, by artist Jean-Paul Sylvaince for Urban Zen, comes in three sizes and looks best when displayed all together or with other shape/size vases. Bring an innovative spirit into your home, where you can fill each vessel with dried flowers or let it stand alone as a soulful sculpture.
