32” x 33” vodou flag handcrafted in Haiti. Azaka (St Isidore) is the Patron Lwa of Farmers.

An art form unique to Haiti, “drapo vodou” are constructed of sequins and beads sewn onto fabric, and figure prominently in ceremonial rites and rituals. The creation of each spectacularly detailed drapo is a painstakingly laborious practice to honor the spirits ("lwa") while bringing to life the dynamic iconography of Haitian Vodou.

This piece is presented in partnership with Myriam Nader Haitian Art Gallery, and 20% of proceeds will be donated to Pazapa. Price includes the gallery’s taxes and processing fees. Please contact us if you’re interested in this drapo vodou.
